BeardMeatsFood beats an unbeaten platter, and Montreal's strangest burger
In back-to-back weeks, Adam Moran cleared a spicy platter nobody had finished at a West Yorkshire petrol station and a peanut-butter-and-KitKat burger in Montreal.
The Pitstopp challenge, posted Oct 11. Plays here from the BeardMeatsFood channel.
BeardMeatsFood is one of the most-watched eaters on YouTube, averaging about 6.5 million views a video. His October run shows why.
The petrol station platter
Pitstopp is a small cafe inside a petrol station in West Yorkshire. Its Pit Stop Monster Challenge had never been beaten. The platter: five wings, five chicken strips, kebab meat, a 26-ounce burger and about four pounds of fries, all covered in the house Dynamite Sauce, plus a milkshake. The time limit is 30 minutes.
Moran finished in 28:55. The prize: the £50 meal free, a £50 voucher, a T-shirt and a spot on the wall of fame.
Montreal's Epic Ladder Burger
A week earlier, he was at La Belle et La Boeuf in Montreal for the Epic Ladder Burger: a tower of beef patties, bacon, American cheese, brie, peanut butter and a fried KitKat, eaten in one sitting. He finished in 10:57. The prize was a spot on the wall of fame and, fittingly, a bottle of Pepto.

Same restaurant, two creators
La Belle et La Boeuf is having a moment. Two weeks before Moran's visit, Randy Santel took on the restaurant's "Spank Me" poutine burger challenge for his own channel. When two of the biggest challenge creators visit the same spot within a month, other challengers usually follow.
